Warm and Cozy Banana Oatmeal

This is a one of my favorite breakfast I have been eating this Warm and Cozy Banana Oatmeal during winter for 3 years now, and I must share it with you. Oats are full of nutrients, and great for the metabolism. Least but not last, are super easy to make. So you can slow cooked in a pot or microwave it for 3 minute and it’s ready. Therefore, I love it in cold mornings, it gives me the strength to start the day. I use grilled banana and top it with plant base yogurt and agave syrup. Finally, to give it more nutrients I add chia seed and flax seed.

Here’s all you need for a portion of Warm and Coozy Banana Oatmeal

50g to 80g of rolled oats
Chia seeds
Flax seeds
Large Banana
Cinnamon (optional)
Plant base yogurt of choice
Agave or Maple syrup
Plant base milk of choice

For a slow morning.

In a pot start warming up some water and your favorite plant base milk, I prefer rice milk, is light, sweet and tasty.
Then pour in the same pot your oats and start stir, everything well. Keep it on low heat, it’s important to not burn your breakfast.
Afterwards, add a spoon of chia and flax seed and stir well. Meanwhile cut your banana and grill it on a non stick pan. You can add some sugar for a better glaze. When your oats are thick and creamy serve it on a bowl, garnish with your grilled banana, some spoon of plant base yogurt and agave syrup.

Fast and furios

For a fast oatmeal you can pour all the ingredients except the yogurt and agave syrup in a bowl with the banana as well and microwave it for 3 minute on medium high and tada it’s ready to be eaten. Then add your toppings.
