Tacos de Oyster Mushroom Asado is a recipe I came out one-day craving some homemade plant-based tacos, I had to admit that this recipe exceeded my expectations. So, I braided the oyster mushrooms with the same marinate of carne asada, they came out perfectly juicy and super tasty. Therefore, I highly recommend trying this at home cause it’s probably one of the easiest recipes for tacos! So do you want to know how I made them?

Procedure for Tacos de Oyster Mushroom Asado
Firstly, Wash and clean your mushroom carefully, I used a damp paper or fabric cloth to take out the soil or anything dirty. It’s better to not wash them directly in the water cause they will absorb it all.
Then prepare your taco mix spices. Afterward, in a bowl add paprika, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, cumin, and coriander. Mix well. Then add your mushroom and spread the taco mix around the oyster mushroom. Meanwhile heat some olive oil in a non-stick pan, when really hot place the coated mushroom on the pan and braise both sides for a couple of minutes.
When they are golden brown it’s time to add a splash of soy sauce and the juice of an orange. Then stir the mushroom and let it reduce and glaze for 5-10 minutes on medium heat. When ready with a knife on a cutting bard cut your mushroom and let it rest. Have you seen how juicy they are?
It’s time to make that vinaigrette. In a small bowl mix some coriander, minced garlic, olive oil salt, and pepper
So In another pan heat up 3 tortillas on both sides, add some shredded vegan cheese, and let it melt. Then on a plate place, the cheesy tortillas add the mushroom Asado, garnish with a slice of avocado, and the vinaigrette. Enjoy with your favorite hot sauce.
