Teriyaki tempeh is one of my favorite recipes, let’s see how to make it.
Tempeh is made from fermented soybeans that are formed into a cake or loaf. It’s originally from Indonesia but made its way around the world as a staple plant-based protein.
It has a firm yet chewy texture and a unique nutty and earthy flavor.

How to make Teriyaki tempeh
In a bowl mix a cup of water, 2 spoon of soy sauce, some sugar, a minced garlic clove, a table spoon of ground ginger, 2 spoon of corn starch or flower to thicken and some chilly if you like. Mix well together and place it in a bowl with the tempeh. Let marinate for more than a hour . Then in a wok place some sesame oil and drop inside the marinate tempeh and the teriyaki sauce. Cook until golden and enjoy over basmati rice and stir fry veggies.
