Dominique left the buzzing life in Amsterdam right in the beginning of 2020 after countless visits, and decided to find her delight in the sweet southern European Style and its sun rays. A lawyer by education, Dominique had enough of hopelessly sugarcoating corporate routines and decide to indulge herself in the pleasures of baking.
But she did not leave it all behind. Her cakes are fully inspired by the healthy and sustainable approach so dear to the Dutch Culture. Like a Dutch painter, each one of them is treated as a canva, a piece of art, worth a place at the Rijksmuseum.
Dominique traded her frosty mornings for healthy and delicious vegan frostings, her usual busy desk for a mini pastry workshop, and ringing phones and piles of paper for dates, nuts and creams (all plant base, obviously). All her recipes are vegan, low in sugar, and whipped at the rhythm of bossa nova. When away from her spatula, Dominique is riding her pink bike around Lisbon, running marathons and catching waves at Costa da Caparica.
